Presented By

Welcome to the 1.01 of our Dynasty Life Newsletter, where, over the next few months, Matthew Freedman, Jake Trowbridge, and Sam Wallace will saturate your Saturdays with all things Dynasty: reviews, re-watches of classic episodes, Joan Collins fan-fic, and more.

We kid. This is Bhayshul Tuten territory. Strap in.

Take it away, Sam!

Hello! Now let’s get into it!

For dynasty managers, the NFL Draft is all about infusing talent and potential into our rosters. We hope and pray that studs land in promising environments and that our veteran RBs aren't derailed by the arrival of promising rookies.

The biggest fantasy winners of the draft were low-end QB1s and high-end QB2s.

Here's what I mean.

Players like Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, and Jayden Daniels are already valued as elite assets—and this draft wasn't going to change that. However, the next few tiers of QBs saw massive upgrades to their respective offenses and dynasty managers need to take notice.

Each of the following QBs added a wideout with a top-40 draft pick:

  • Trevor Lawrence -> Travis Hunter (No. 2)

  • Bryce Young -> Tetairoa McMillan (No. 8)

  • Baker Mayfield -> Emeka Egbuka (No. 19)

  • Jordan Love -> Matthew Golden (No. 23)

  • C.J. Stroud -> Jayden Higgins (No. 34)

  • Caleb Williams -> Luther Burden (No. 39)

The Bears also snagged Colston Loveland with the 10th overall selection. Meaning Superflex dynasty startup leagues just got way more exciting.

How a mint can help with your hair loss

Please meet Hims, our newest partner here at Fantasy Life. Among the hair-loss products that Hims offers access to is their mint—it even comes in a tin!—that helps treat hair loss and helps re-grow balding hair.

We all love stats here, so let me share a couple you may enjoy: 72% of “chew” customers have noticed reduced balding since starting treatment through Hims.* And 71% of chew customers have noticed “thicker, fuller-looking hair” since starting treatment through Hims.*

This is a discreet, simple, modern way to help stop hair loss, improve growth, and anything in between ... And hey—they obviously love fantasy sports, if you needed another reason.

Learn more (including timelines, details, active ingredients, and more) here, and enjoy the fact that you can accomplish the impossible with something as small as a mint.

*Based on a Dec. 2024 survey of 156 Hims compounded chew customers 6+ months in tenure

The One-Man Dynasty Superflex Mock

Dynasty rankings are great and all, but we know putting it into action is something completely different. Jake Trowbridge did a one-man mock and put his spin on his picks—like taking Cam Ward 5th. As he puts it:

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the more interesting picks (with Fantasy Life’s Superflex Dynasty ranks for comparison):

Let’s Take a Look at the RBs

One of the main calling cards for the Class of 2025 was the depth of the RB position and, so far, that's holding true.

Prior to this year, in the history of Dwain McFarland's Rookie RB Super Model (since 2018), there have been just two instances where eight RBs have had a Super Model Rating of at least 70.

  • 2018 (players like Saquon Barkley and Nick Chubb)

  • 2020 (players like Jonathan Taylor and D'Andre Swift)

The 2025 RBs are the third class to have eight RBs reach a threshold score of at least 70.

Besides Ashton Jeanty, players like Omarion Hampton, TreVeyon Henderson, Quinshon Judkins, and R.J. Harvey are set up to smash for dynasty managers.

If you need to restock your RB cupboard, this is the season to do it. Load 'em up and let 'em rip.

Are there Any WR Superstars?

This class graced us with a pair of wideouts who made the all-time top-10 list in the Rookie WR Super Model (2018-2025).

Both Travis Hunter (No. 5) and Tetairoa McMillan (No. 7) cracked a list dominated by star players like Ja'Marr Chase (No. 1), Malik Nabers (No. 3), and Garrett Wilson (No. 9).

It remains to be seen just how often the Jaguars will play Hunter two ways, but his raw talent and insane athletic ability will keep him in the upper-echelon of wideouts more often than not.

Still, we need to be realistic with our expectations. Lawrence has not looked like the generational prospect he was made out to be, and Hunter will play across from budding superstar Brian Thomas Jr.

McMillan will face his own QB challenges and Bryce Young looks to build on his strong finish in Year 2.

Even so, both players should command their fair share of targets this season.

If you're looking for a potential league-winner at the position, I've been seeing Jayden Higgins (Texans) falling into the middle of Round 2 in early superflex rookie drafts. A physical clone of Nico Collins, Higgins will start Day 1 and is tied to one of the best, ascending QBs in the league in C.J. Stroud.

Houston double-tapped Iowa State wideouts by drafting both Higgins and Jaylin Noel, but despite what appears to be a crowded room on paper, I'm confident Higgins will emerge as the WR2 at worst and potentially as the 1B behind Collins by the end of the season.

THESE UPDATED RANKINGS ARE A MUST FOR ROOKIE DRAFTS
