4 Dream Landing Spots For RBs
PRESENTED BY |
I love a good mock draft, but they usually stop after Round 1. Fortunately, Thor Nystrom recently rolled up his sleeves and put together a two-round mock draft for us. Everyone knows that Ashton Jeanty and Omarion Hampton are Round 1 picks at this point, but I was particularly interested in where he slotted the next wave of RBs in Round 2. And boy, did it not disappoint. Not only is this an exceptionally deep RB class, but it also becomes evident how many great landing spots are available for the Tier 2 guys. Let’s take a look … | ![]() Peter Overzet |
Great Landing Spots Available For Round 2 RBs
🇺🇸 TreVeyon Henderson > Patriots
Henderson, who has a little Jahmyr Gibbs to his game, would immediately become the most exciting back in New England. He’d probably lose some bruiser work to Rhamondre Stevenson early on, but would be well-positioned to take over the majority of the touches by the end of the season.
🐻 Quinshon Judkins > Bears
This would be a great fit. Judkins would quickly push D’Andre Swift to a complementary role and gobble up goal-line touches in an ascending offense.
✮ Kaleb Johnson > Cowboys
One year after completely ignoring the position, a second-round investment from the Cowboys would trigger excitement across the fantasy sphere. Even after a somewhat disappointing NFL Scouting Combine, Johnson would immediately become a Top-50 fantasy pick as the lead back in Dallas.
🫡 Cam Skattebo > Commanders
This one is really interesting. The Commanders need RB depth behind Brian Robinson and Austin Ekeler, and Skattebo brings a combination of both their skill sets as a great short-yardage back and a capable pass catcher. My guess is the market would be afraid of a committee, while I’d be willing to bet on him taking over the backfield over the course of the season.
One thing is clear when doing this exercise—bombs are about to go off in these NFL backfields. Outside of a handful of guys, no one is safe from getting displaced by one of these 2025 rookies.

The Next Haason Reddick?
Let’s veer off the skill-position path for a second and focus on the defensive side of the ball—especially for you IDP fantasy football players out there.
While most of the attention has gone to the generational talent Travis Hunter, the QBs in Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward, and the depth of the RB class, there are a number of legitimate disruptors on the other side of the ball.
Jalon Walker checks in as a sleek, high-octane athlete capable of harassing quarterbacks with the best of them. He could quickly help turn a struggling defensive unit around, ultimately impacting how much the offense has to push during a game (um, hello, fantasy points?).
Who else is available to bolster a team’s LB room once Walker is off the board? Thor dives in. 👇
The Biggest Headscratchers In Dynasty Leagues
Fantasy football rankings are an intricate process … before you factor in the additional nuances that ranking for dynasty formats requires.
Sam Wallace released his first run of 2025 dynasty rankings a few weeks ago, but a handful of players are still keeping him up at night.
I mean, seriously … things can’t possibly get worse for Marvin Harrison Jr., right?
With Deebo Samuel gone and Brandon Aiyuk sidelined, there’s no way Ricky Pearsall doesn’t assume a significant role … right?
Bucky Irving finished his rookie campaign on a high note, but do we really trust it to carry over with Rachaad White still there?? 👀 ⬇️
